ByteDance Community App

Context

During my time at ByteDance, I worked on the frontend of a community-style app. Although the product was not publicly launched, it exposed me to a more mature internet product engineering environment.

Process

I mainly worked on content-feed related modules, implementing display logic, interaction feedback, frontend state and cross-platform workflows with HBuilderX.

Result

This experience strengthened my understanding of community products, especially around performance, feedback loops and interaction consistency.

Reflection

A community product is not just a stack of information. It is a continuous flow between content, relationships and feedback.
