Autism Therapy Assistant Robot

Context

This graduation project is a desktop robot designed for autism therapy assistance. It aims to support emotion recognition, language training and behavior guidance through gentle, repeatable interaction.

Process

I explored therapy scenarios, children’s interaction rhythm, hardware form and guided training flows, then shaped the robot’s product and industrial design.

Result

The project ranked first in my major and became the only graduation project rated excellent.

Reflection

This project helped me think about technology, industrial design and real human needs together. Good design is not about showing complexity. It is about delivering capability gently.
